Israel-Iran conflict, Bushati: Albanians should be concerned

Former Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati commented on the Israel-Iran conflict and US intervention.

Speaking to Euronews Albania, Bushati said that these developments prove that the liberal global order no longer exists and this, according to him, should make Albanians more attentive.

"What we considered to be the liberal global order no longer exists, we are now in an amorphous situation where the old order no longer exists but a new order is in the making. But we don't know who it is."

We Albanians, first and foremost, must be very attentive and very concerned about what is happening because we are beneficiaries of the global order based on the principle of fundamental human rights and freedoms.

"Without this order and without the intervention of the Americans on the basis of some principles that are directly related to freedom and human rights, we would not have an independent Kosovo, we would not have Albania in NATO ," Bushati said.
