"Aims to stop drug trafficking"/ US Embassy announces new visa

The United States Embassy in Tirana has announced a new visa restriction policy, affecting not only individuals sanctioned for drug trafficking, but also their family members and close associates.

In a post on social media, the embassy quotes Secretary of State Marco Rubio: “I am announcing a new policy to restrict visas for family members and close personal and business associates of individuals sanctioned under Executive Order 14059.
