Another disease has affected livestock, after the plague.

Media sources report that Brucellosis has appeared in Debar and as a result two families have been isolated.

So far, it is reported that the situation is not alarming as both families have been isolated and have destroyed their pets infected with the Brucella virus, however, all necessary tests have been carried out for all members of these families, as well as for other people who have reportedly had contact with them recently, and their treatment has begun.

Brucellosis is a contagious disease caused by the consumption of unsterilized milk or undercooked meat from infected animals, or through close contact with their secretions.

This disease manifests itself in various forms, from sweating, fever, chills, foul-smelling sweat, fatigue, general poor health, loss of appetite, muscle and joint pain, headache, diarrhea or constipation, and vomiting.
