Xama: The "Partizani" dossier is quite weak and without facts!

Journalist Ola Xama has commented on the start of the trial against opposition leader Sali Berisha.

During her speech, the journalist emphasized that the Berisha government's collegial law is not a personal law, but a law that has benefited thousands of former owner families.

Xama also said that the file against Berisha is weak and devoid of facts.

"The two charges are corruption and money laundering. Mr. Malltezi is accused of having been favored to return a piece of land from his grandfather's family and having been favored by Berisha, the prime minister at the time, through the acquisition of a property that, according to documents, belonged to his family, but was favored with several decisions by the government.

To declare the land as land where it could be built, but also by introducing the procedure of payment with privatization bonds, obtaining land where an investor later became involved and a complex with 19 buildings was built.

He has received money that he considers to be proceeds of a criminal offense. The prosecution claims that this money was used to cover Berisha's medical expenses, vacations, and the foundation of Mrs. Liri Berisha. As well as the bills for legal expenses for the removal of the non-wife in Great Britain or the process in France against former Secretary Blinken.

"SPAK accuses Mr. Berisha of creating the Property Restitution and Compensation Agency, among other things, to help his son-in-law get the land, but it's a bit ridiculous because there are hundreds of thousands of families who have benefited from this property," Xama told TPZ.
