Durrës burns, citizens are abandoned/ DP: The propaganda state surrenders

The Democratic Party has reacted to the alarming situation of fires in the city of Durrës, where 26 fires have been recorded in 24 hours.

The DP has highlighted the failure of state structures to manage the situation and ensure the protection of citizens' lives and property. The DP has denounced the delays of emergency structures, as well as the lack of a rapid response.

"26 fires in 24 hours, the most serious and damaging of which was the devastating fire in the Durrës industrial market, are not only an alarming balance, but also a sign of the surrender of emergency and security structures to dangers, whether natural, accidental or human.

This proves once again what we constantly emphasize: in the party-state, structures and institutions care not for the safety and lives of citizens and the preservation of the territory, but for farce and party propaganda. 

The burning, not only of the workplace, but also of the savings and turnover, of hundreds of small traders from Durrës in a few hours, in the face of delays, lack of reaction and readiness of state structures, shows that the citizen is abandoned to the mercy of fate.

"The Democratic Party expressed regret for the damage caused to Durrës merchants and at the same time the revolt, not only with the reaction, but especially with the failure to take the appropriate technical measures that would have avoided the danger, which damaged goods and savings, but also threatened the lives, safety and tranquility of Durrës and domestic or foreign tourists in the middle of the summer season ," the DP declares.
