'Golden Bullet'/ Lawyers leave the courtroom, Altin Ndoc's trial postponed again

'Golden Bullet'/ Lawyers leave the courtroom, Altin Ndoc's trial

The court hearing for the "Golden Bullet" case, where one of the main defendants is Altin Ndoci, was interrupted again on Tuesday, after for the second time in a row the defense lawyers left the courtroom.

This time, it was lawyer Elda Zotaj, legal representative of Altin Ndoc, who left the hearing, moments after requesting the exclusion of the presiding judge, Engjëllushe Tahiraj.

Zotaj accused the judge of being biased and intimidating the defendants' legal representatives, demanding her removal from the case.

After her departure, the court was forced to interrupt the process, unable to conduct the planned questioning of the third defendant in the case, Skerdo Tasi, who had taken the witness stand.

In the previous part of the session, which lasted about two hours and was accompanied by strong debates between the parties, the court accepted the lawyers' request to make available the cooperation agreement between SPAK and the repentant Endrit Alibej. It also approved the submission of the minutes of the statements given by Alibej in 2022, before signing the cooperation agreement with the Special Prosecution Office.
