The elected MP of the Democratic Party in Elbasan, Bledi Himçi, commented on the fire recorded the day before at the Elbasan Incinerator Landfill. 

Speaking to SYRI TV, Himçi stated that the fire at the Elbasan landfill was intentional to destroy evidence.

According to Himçi, three days before the landfill was set on fire, the Elbasan prosecution questioned all employees of the 'Eco-El' company.

'In that landfill, materials are differentiated, cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum, whatever can be found during the inspection. Those people work like slaves there.

Normally there should have been a stock of these materials. It is being set on fire to say that they were burned along with them, that they were sold by the company 'Eco-El' and the money went into the pockets of officials.

The evidence is burning here too. You know when the fire was set.

Three days ago, the Elbasan prosecutor's office summoned all 'Eco-El' employees and the arson was intentional.

There are investigations by the Elbasan prosecutor's office into the incinerator.

The employees of 'Eco-El' have been summoned and have testified before the prosecutor and here we are no longer dealing with issues of an investigation by the Elbasan prosecution.

"We are dealing with an organized crime here and SPAK should have investigated it. It is a criminal group that steals the money of the taxpayers of Elbasan and Albanians ," said Himçi.
