"Meta has nothing to do with lobbying"/ Blushi publishes document: SPAK to reveal the name of who paid the bills from LSI

The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, stated in a media statement that the President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has no connection with the lobbying of the SMI.

"SPAK should reveal the name of who paid the bills from LSI," Blushi said in his statement.

In the interest of maximum transparency with public opinion and in continuation of the promised process for dismantling all farcical and political accusations raised against the President of the Freedom Party, Mr. Ilir Meta, today we will bring to light the political and criminal attempt by SPAK, which we strongly condemn, to allegedly involve Mr. Meta in the so-called lobbying issue by the former LSI.

By reminding the entire public opinion that every suspicion and political accusation raised regarding an alleged payment of 1 million USD to Mr. Meta or the former LSI for lobbying in the US for a photo with President Trump has now been officially completely dismissed, as untrue and fabricated, which was later reduced to the charge of 100 thousand USD illegal, at the time of arrest and which resulted, as proven by the American authorities, only a legal payment of 15 thousand USD to the "McKeon Group" declared according to the law by the former LSI, we are also clarifying another issue that SPAK deliberately does not clarify.

On page 103 of the decision dated May 26, 2025, for the defendant's arrest of Mr. Meta, SPAK informs that a registered letter has arrived from the USA regarding the contract that the former LSI had with the company GSIS Llc, an official agreement, approved by decision of the Presidency of the former LSI, signed by a leader of this party, i.e. not by Mr. Meta who at that time was President of the Republic and not Chairman of the LSI, and filed according to Albanian and American laws.

Also on page 103, SPAK writes, among other things, that the executive director of GSIS has certified that all information and data on the company's activity are true and correct, in accordance with federal regulations, and has forwarded to the US Department of Justice documentation regarding the invoice payments that LSI has made to GSIS.

In point 3, also on page 103 written by SPAK itself, it is stated, among other things, that SPAK has the invoices that GSIS sent to LSI and the invoices that LSI paid, a large amount, which according to SPAK does not correspond to the amounts that were deposited with the CEC, according to the law, by this party.

The Freedom Party and President Meta are today publicly redirecting SPAK, which will deliberately not reveal the truth about the lobbying:

Who in LSI, first and last name, did GSIS send these invoices to? Because this is also the key person that SPAK is deliberately hiding.

If this claim raised by SPAK is true, that is, that payments were made on behalf of LSI, to this company or to another company, it doesn't matter, which were not reported to the CEC, and which were not approved by the LSI presidency, which had its own statute and where decisions were made about expenses and everything, then undoubtedly we are dealing with illegal actions, undoubtedly we are dealing with criminal offenses and undoubtedly he, she or those who committed these offenses are precisely those who are being deliberately and politically protected today by SPAK by not providing the full facts to the media.

Where did this money go?

Who did they send these bills to?

SPAK is deliberately hiding it and the reason is purely political, to keep in the air and smoke that President Meta should be here, which is 100% untrue, as the case with McKeon Group resulted in.

Because it is this person who is hiding today and is being protected by SPAK who not only was aware of these staggering invoices, but even if he did not order or request the realization of these payments, he made these invoices known to the person in the LSI who made this decision, and this could not and cannot be Ilir Meta, and SPAK knows this very well, but is being used politically to leave this responsibility to Ilir Meta, hiding the evidence and facts.

So SPAK in this case not only does not investigate, but hides facts and names with purely political intentions to blame Ilir Meta, saying he received this command from "Ramaduro".

In this way, SPAK also protects, on Rama's orders, the responsible persons who, caught in illegal actions, have served Rama and against the Freedom Party since November 21, 2023. They are those whom, before the Convention of April 27, 2024, President Meta publicly described as the faction of "Duman and Adrian".

But as in the case of the "McKeon Group", these manipulations will also be clarified, so SPAK indefinitely postpones the investigations because the trial on the merits cannot be closed.

But even documents from the US cannot be hidden for long.

It is now clear that SPAK does not make public the key person or persons in the lobbying issue because it functions as a criminal organization, continuing to spread disinformation on television and media outlets purchased with the dirty money of the incinerators, as well as through mercenary journalists who write and report on the scams offered by SPAK.

The history of lobbying is this: to make an agreement with a company, a person is appointed to sign it, this is filed with the CEC, it is also filed with FARA, the Department of Justice in America, and at the same time it also charges the person who implements it, clause by clause.

Because the Party Chairman does not deal with these details, but there are other people, there are responsible people.

And SPAK deliberately hides from us, in the assessment that it has been 3 years, who this company sent these invoices to, one person, because it cannot send them to tens of thousands of LSI members.

Who did it lead to? SPAK is hiding this from us.

Covering up the truth and throwing it into the media market through the regime's media, paid for with the dirty money of the incinerators of fake news and utter untruths.

How is it proven that it is SPAK that uses journalists to spread untruths, disinformation, and fake news?

Defending the legality of the control and seizure of journalist Elton Qyno's phones, SPAK representatives, on April 9, 2025, articulated an unprecedented statement during a session at the Constitutional Court, which compromises not only the abused journalists of the chronicle, but also SPAK itself.

SPAK prosecutor Bledar Maksuti, appointed by Altin Dumani for the Qyno case, stated before the trial panel that journalists, before publishing a material of a secret nature, obtain permission from SPAK whether to publish the material or not. This shows that any secret material published in the media receives the approval of SPAK. This statement portrays SPAK as the editor-in-chief of all journalists, as the filter that gives 'OK' or not for the publication of a material in the media.

The statement caught the attention of the members of the Constitutional Court. The President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, asked the SPAK prosecutor whether there was any legal or practical basis for journalists to obtain permission from SPAK when they wanted to publish secret information about a SPAK case.

Maksuti responded that there was no legal basis to force journalists, but insisted that the latter ask SPAK themselves about publishing information, if the information they want to publish 'disrupts' SPAK's work.
