Dhurata Çupi will not be a member of the new Parliament: I have never

Democratic Party MP, Dhurata Çupi, will not be part of the next Parliament to be constituted in September, after she failed to obtain the mandate in the May 11 elections in the Tirana District.

In a post on social media, Çupi writes that he has been part of the Assembly since 2016 and that he has spared neither time, nor heart, nor strength to serve citizens, firmly believing that politics has always been about responsibility and commitment to the common good.

Despite not being in the Assembly hall, Dhurata Çupi warns that she will continue her political engagement in support of voices of reason with the sole conviction that the victory of the DP must happen for the good of the country.

Since 2016, I have had the pride of being a representative of the Democratic Party in the Parliament of Albania, the political force that carries the ideals of freedom and service to citizens.

This party has shaped me politically, but above all, it has taught me that in the face of any difficulty, principles and not personal interests must be defended.

I have spared no time, heart, or strength to serve the people who trusted me, even those who did not vote for me, firmly believing that politics has always been about responsibility and commitment to the common good.

I have not compromised my conscience or my beliefs. Over the years, I have spoken out loud about the issues that affect us, but I have also been silent when I should have listened more. I have spoken out for the vulnerable, for women, for young people, for those who often feel forgotten by politics. I have been there, not only in words, but also in deeds.

Thank you to the Democratic Party for the trust, thank you to my colleagues for the cooperation, and thank you above all to you, the citizens, for every word of support, for every criticism that has made me more objective.

I will always be where the voice of reason, the strength of truth, and the conviction that the victory of the Democratic Party must happen for the good of our Albania are required.
