Last plenary session, draft law against foreign interference and disinformation

The draft law against foreign interference and disinformation was approved without the opposition present this afternoon in the last plenary session for this parliamentary legislature.

This draft law passed only with majority votes, as at the end of the session the opposition abandoned the moment of voting on the draft laws.

The draft law on the national strategy against foreign interference and disinformation relates to concrete legal and institutional measures to address disinformation and malicious foreign interference.

The draft law aims to ensure that both electoral processes and democracy are not violated by malicious foreign countries.
