Journalist Andi Bushati commented on the results of the vote recount in Fier, where Zegjine Çaushi lost the mandate by a 10-vote margin, but it was later awarded to her because the winning candidate refused it.

Invited to MCN, Bushati said that this case is similar to the dismissal of the directors of the Municipality of Vlora.

"Zegjine's case is not the personal fate of that bitch who has no importance. If you ask anyone who was involved in the campaign in Fier, they would say that Zeqine should have been elected on Rama's orders. The recount was done, Rama said let the other one go, let the one I decided stay.

I saw the same scene today in the Municipality of Vlora. Those who claim that we live in a democracy should know that the local government and the central government are separate. The prime minister should not go there to dismiss the directors and have them sit there like fools. 

"Why does massive theft continue at Bankers? Because in autocracy every control mechanism dies. There is no justice in things going to the end," Bushati said.
