Opposition MP Belind Këlliçi directly accuses journalist Carlo Bollino of having connections with the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and of involvement in the court case being conducted against him at the Tirana Criminal Court.

On social media, Këlliçi describes Bollino as a "symbol of the journalist businessman," accusing him of a tendency to influence public perception regarding the judicial process to which he himself is a party.  

"The thief of 4000m2 of public land in the middle of Tirana, the pseudo journalist of the villages of Italy, who will now enter the annals of journalism as an ordinary soldier of the leader of 5D Veliaj, was disturbed today by the next hearing held at the Criminal Court of Tirana!

Although there are some hearings in which he dares not appear in person in the courtroom, for fear of facing the facts about his unprecedented swindle, this chronic fraudster is anxious about the next trial and the new evidence that will be presented about his corrupt deeds.

It's amazing how such characters, whose hands and voices tremble in front of the court, once they get out, find the courage and boldness to write or utter the next hoax, which they don't even believe themselves...

Albanian journalism today is crippled precisely by disposable characters like the Leçjani Bollino, who has become the symbol of the journalist-businessman, who uses the media establishment he runs as a machine for smearing and slandering anyone who dares to speak about government or municipal corruption!
