Changes in the State Police, new names expected to lead 5 police stations

The competition for 5 vacant positions in the State Police has ended. The Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, is expected to determine the 5 winning names according to points, where the candidate to be considered the winner must have received over 70 points.

Out of the 51 applicants, the first to achieve maximum points is Idriz Daulle, the current Deputy Director for Order and Security at the Tirana Police.

Sources indicate that Daulle is expected to be appointed chief of police station no. 2 in Tirana after the resignation of Ritvan Pal. With Daulle's competition in the competition for 5 police stations, we are expected to have a new Deputy Director for Order and Security in the Tirana Police.

Meanwhile, from this second competition, Përparim Dema, the current chief of the Rinas police station, has been ranked, and is expected to retain this position again.

Following Dema in the points standings are Faik Ruko and Elvid Shehu. Ruko comes from the Elbasan Police, while Elvid Shehu is the acting chief of the Saranda Border Police Station, a post he is currently assigned to and is expected to take up definitively.

Also on the winning list is Bledar Rreshka, who previously headed police station no. 3 in the capital.

51 applicants ran for the 5 positions:

1-Chief of Police Station No. 2 in Tirana

2-Head of the Himara police station

3-Chief of the Rinas police station

4-Head of the Dibër Border Police Station

5-Chief of the Saranda Border Police Station

Then the other candidates who received over 70 points in this competition are: Florian Dano, Ferit Merkaj, Kliton Zharri, Artur Mersini, Bledar Rreshka, Ardjan Çela, Ermal Kenaçi, Ediona Dano, Behar Gançi, Oltjon Agolli and Pllumb Kovaçica.

In the coming days, Director General Ilir Proda is expected to make appointments to these 5 police stations. Meanwhile, the competition for the Tirana Traffic Police station, where Lorenc Shehu continues to be in command, has not yet been opened, following the arrest of Roven Zeka by SPAK.
