When the government comes out on the ground... about the problems it created

After 12 years in power, Tirana continues to be a zone of urban chaos. Instead of solving real problems, Prime Minister Rama and his cabinet gathered to divide work with ministers and MPs as in a strategy game.

Public space, parking, and services remain scarce and unaffordable, but the next mobilization has only one goal: meetings, reports, and empty promises.

On the ground, citizens continue to suffer while in the pink offices they continue to plan… other meetings.

In a one-hour meeting held at the pink headquarters, Rama assigned tasks to representatives of central and local institutions who will be directly engaged in managing the problems in Tirana.

The plan foresees the division of the territory into blocks, with clear responsibilities for each area. These blocks will be overseen by MPs, ministers and representatives of the Municipality of Tirana, who are expected to work in close coordination on priority issues.

According to sources, there are four main points where special mobilization is required: public spaces, parking lots, services, and construction permits.

The role of ministers will be expanded, with the aim of specifically intervening in cases where issues are related to their respective fields.

The Ministry of Finance will deal with budgetary issues, while the Ministry of Infrastructure will assist with water supply or transportation issues.

The acting mayor of Tirana, Anulea Ristani, and the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, will be engaged in the management of public spaces.

Traffic and issues related to circulation will be the focus of the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, and the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha.

Meanwhile, the municipality's human resources will be under the care of the Minister for Local Government, Arbjan Mazniku and Anulea Ristan. Finance will be handled by Minister Petrit Malaj and the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, Delina Ibrahimaj.

Rama has asked MPs and ministers to hold direct meetings with citizens and report on progress. The next meeting to discuss progress is scheduled for two weeks.
