Italy has tightened the rules for the circulation of electric skateboards on city streets.
The new rules require a license plate to be placed in a visible position for each such electric vehicle. The license plate will be collected from the authorities and will also serve as a way to register such vehicles.
Adults must also wear helmets, as authorities say safety measures will be increased. The new law also stipulates penalties for violators, ranging from 100 to 400 euros.
