A criminal group is hit in Kamëz, three people are arrested, three others

Kruja Police have finalized the operation codenamed "Formation", striking a criminal group suspected of several thefts in the Fushë Kruja area. As a result, three people have been arrested, three others are wanted, while another was previously arrested for theft.

The arrested are:
• Aleksandër Bushgjokaj, 24 years old, resident of Kamzë, who was previously wanted for the criminal offenses of “Destruction of property” and “Leaving the scene of an accident”;
• Gani Lamaj, 33 years old, resident of Kamzë;
• Kriste Bushgjokaj, 29 years old, who was caught red-handed driving a rented vehicle without a license, which is suspected to have been used by the group to commit and flee the scene of the crime. The vehicle has been seized as material evidence.

Meanwhile, the police have announced the following citizens as wanted:
• GV, 22 years old, resident of Kamza;
• LK, 33 years old, resident of Kamza;
• FB (D.), 33 years old, resident of Kamza.

Admiral Rama, who was previously arrested by the Police for theft, was also part of this criminal group.

Details of the thefts

From the investigations conducted so far, it is suspected that this criminal group is involved in several theft cases:
• On March 27, 2025, the seven members of the group stole 16,000 lek from a money transfer entity.
• On March 28, 2025, six of them stole 21 mobile phones from a store.

The police continue their work to arrest the wanted persons, while investigations are being conducted under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office to document with legal evidence other possible thefts committed by this group. The procedural materials have been referred to the prosecution for further action.
