Albanian cinematography icon Margarita Xhepa passes away at the age of 93

The renowned actress, icon of Albanian cinema, Margarita Xhepa, has passed away at the age of 93.

Xhepa celebrated her birthday the day before, and passed away today. The actress passed away in the hospital in the early hours of the morning.

Margarita Xhepa was born on April 2, 1934, in the city of Lushnja, where she took her first steps towards her career.

During her career, she has created over 150 roles in theater and 32 roles in cinema.
