Electoral crimes, Lala: There is a secret investigation, a prisoner's phone

Journalist Klodiana Lala revealed details about the investigations being conducted regarding electoral crimes before May 11. Invited to MCN, Lala said that in addition to the case made public, there is an investigation that has begun after the seizure of a convicted person's phone.  

"January-April, there are 25 criminal proceedings related to electoral crimes. 7 were registered at the initiative of prosecutors. In total, 65 materials were referred, but some of them were transferred to prosecutors of ordinary jurisdiction.

There has been a flood of complaints on the platform about the way the administration is being misused, how state resources are being put at the service of the campaign. Officially, there is only one case, that of Lushnja. One of the investigations is being kept completely secret, but it started with the seizure of the cell phone of a convict, who turned out to be involved in the campaign. Where this investigation will go remains to be seen ," said Lala.
