He raped an OSHEE employee, a 38-year-old man is wanted in Tirana

A serious incident was recorded on Friday afternoon in the capital, where an employee of the Electricity Distribution Operator (OSHEE) was physically assaulted while performing her duties.

According to the official police announcement, the Crime Investigation specialists at Police Station No. 2 have declared citizen SC, 38 years old, resident of Tirana, wanted. He is accused of hitting OSHEE employee RH, 37 years old, with hard objects on April 25, 2025, at around 1:00 p.m.

The incident occurred at the premises owned by the 38-year-old on "Artan Lenja" street, where the OSHEE employee had gone to carry out verifications regarding the electricity meter.

As a result of the violence, the 37-year-old woman was left injured and is currently in hospital, under the care of doctors.

The police have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and are searching for the perpetrator. The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further legal action.
