Directed Justice/Vangjeli: SPAK does not investigate any scandal involving Rama

The Democratic Party's Anti-Corruption Spokesperson, Genta Vangjeli, has reacted by describing the "Partizani" file as the most flagrant example of "double standards" and "capturing justice" by the regime she calls "Ramaduro".

Vangjeli accused SPAK of political actions against the opposition, citing the arrest of the historic leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, who, according to her, has been held in custody for 333 days "without any legal evidence."

She added that Jamarbër Malltezi, head of the Environment Department in the DP, has also been under arrest for 551 days, just because he "built on legally returned property" and contributed to the community through investments in infrastructure and education.

As proof of the politicization of justice, the DP also cites a document published by Berisha's lawyer, which claims that SPAK drafted an order for the execution of a court decision one day before the court itself had made that decision.

Genta Vangjeli's statement:

The 'Partizani' file is one of the most flagrant examples of double standards and justice captured by the 'Ramaduro' regime, which has become a political instrument against the opposition and opponents of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

SPAK arrested the historic opposition leader Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha who was held in custody for 333 days without any legal evidence.

Likewise, Professor Jamarbër Malltezi, head of the Environment Department at the Democratic Party, has been held in custody for 551 days, for what…

Because, like 570,000 other Albanian citizens, his property was returned to him and he developed it by respecting the law, paying every obligation, contributing to the community by building a kindergarten, a nursery, settling 42 informal families, and donating 4,100m2 of land for the construction of a public high school.

On the other hand, justice by direction:

• Turn a blind eye to Edi Rama's signature repeated 8 times in the 'Partizani' file, while Berisha has none...

• It is silent about the fact that 4100 m2 of land donated for a public high school is being used today as a private business by Carlo Bollino with the blessing of Edi Rama and his 4 Council of Ministers;

• Does not investigate the 'strategic investments' with which Rama has divided Albania as inherited personal property;

• Does not react to the incinerator that does not exist and continues to collect Albanians' money;

• Turn a blind eye to the McGonigal affair;

• It is silent about 34 thousand m2 of coastal land on behalf of the families of the KM in the Bay of Gjipe;

• It does not even react to the documented audio and video evidence of the May 11 election farce.

The document recently published by Mr. Berisha's lawyer clearly shows that the justice organs act on political orders: Spak drafts an order for the execution of the court decision one day before the court itself makes the decision.

The Democratic Party will not stop denouncing any violation of the law and any act that uses justice as a political weapon.

Captured justice will not be able to stop the truth.

It will not stop accountability nor our battle for a democratic, European and fair Albania for all citizens.
