Albanian man in danger of drowning in the waters of the Piave River in Italy,

A 53-year-old man of Albanian origin, resident of Ponte di Piave, was rescued this afternoon, July 5, from the waters of the Piave River.

The man was in the water when he suffered a sudden shock. Several people present noticed his difficulties and immediately notified the relevant authorities.

Firefighters, 118 emergency teams, and law enforcement quickly arrived at the scene to secure the area.

The extraction from the water took place in the Fagarè locality of San Biagio di Callalta.

Fortunately, once he was pulled out of the water, the 53-year-old had no serious complications.

However, the rescue teams decided to send him to the emergency room of the Oderzo hospital for further checks and to monitor his health condition.
