Two days ago, Rama made a surprise visit to the Municipality of Vlora. In the closed-door meeting, the Prime Minister, who had previously expressed his dissatisfaction with the Municipality of Vlora, demanded the dismissal of the directors and management structures of the PS branch in the coastal city.

The directors surrendered to Rama's ultimatum and one day after the visit of the Socialist leader, they resigned.

Ermal Dredha, the mayor of Vlora, with whom Rama had a debate at the 34th anniversary of the Socialist Party, told News 24 that he was the one who requested the dismissal of the directors. To bolster his alibi, Dredha says that he made the request twice, in January and March.

"I have requested it before, in January and March, because I also have this to motivate the directors to translate it into work for the community. It is not that there has been hesitation on the part of the Mayor, but we need to find more motivated and responsible people to do that work with passion. Everyone has reacted positively, we will look and do a full scan and then we will make a final decision," added Dredha.
