A serious incident has shocked the Albanian community in Italy, where 22-year-old Ilaria Sula was found stabbed to death. Her mother, Gëzime Sula, has given shocking details about the case, indicating that she had suspected from the first moment that something was wrong with her daughter.

According to her testimony, she had noticed changes in Ilaria's communication style, as she no longer sent messages as before and did not respond normally to video calls. Her suspicions were heightened when it was noticed that the messages sent from her daughter's number did not match her writing style. After contacting the girl's friends, the family decided to immediately report her disappearance to the police.

"I immediately realized that something was wrong. We were communicating via video call and she wasn't sending messages. Then I spoke to her friends who lived with her and together with my husband we decided to immediately report her disappearance. The investigation immediately led to the boy with whom Ilaria had had a relationship in the past, but we know little about him," stated Gëzime Sula.

After the complaint, the Italian police launched an investigation and focused on Ilaria's ex-partner, who is suspected of being involved in the crime. The Sula family immediately traveled to Rome to closely follow the developments of the investigation and to collect their daughter's body.

The event has caused strong reactions in the Albanian community in Italy, while authorities are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the macabre murder.
