The Democratic Party's candidate for deputy and simultaneously the president of the DP Youth Forum, Besart Xhaferri, has pledged that the price of oil will be reduced by 50 lek, making it comparable to that of Kosovo.

In a video posted on the social network Facebook, Xhaferri called oil "the lifeblood of the economy," emphasizing that any decrease in its price brings a chain effect throughout the economy and directly affects the daily lives of citizens.
