Dumani responds to DP's request for electoral crimes: 18 cases have been processed, 5 have been registered as major crimes

Following the Democratic Party's request for information regarding investigations into electoral crimes by the Task Force that was established in January 2025 by the Special Prosecution Office in cooperation with the CEC and the General Prosecutor's Office, it responded today.
The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, emphasizes in his letter to the DP that the Special Prosecution Office has registered a total of 18 criminal proceedings for electoral crimes, while 5 of them have been registered primarily.

In response to your letter, No. 267 Prot. dated 02.04.2025, received and protocoled on 03.04.2024, after verifications carried out in the register of notification of criminal offenses of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, regarding the criminal proceedings registered for electoral crimes, it results that:
1. For the period January 2025 to the present, a total of 18 criminal proceedings related to electoral crimes have been registered in the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.
2. Out of 18 criminal proceedings registered in total for electoral crimes, 5 of them were registered primarily.
