A 23-year-old man has been arrested in the Don Bosco area for carrying a firearm.

The young man was caught red-handed while attempting to sell the pistol. As can be seen in the video, the 23-year-old had hidden the weapon inside a box.

"As a result of surprise checks, carried out in the course of police work to guarantee order and crack down on illegalities, the Illicit Trafficking Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, finalized the "Gracka" operation."

During the operation, citizen AD, 23 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto on "Demir Progni" street.

The checks revealed that this citizen had 1 firearm, a pistol, with combat ammunition, which he was suspected of selling.

Investigations are ongoing to identify and bring to criminal responsibility other citizens who may have been implicated in this case.

"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
