Albania as 'inn without gates', Italian media: England will set up 4

The UK is planning to set up four repatriation centres for illegal immigrants in Albania, Italian media have reported .

This move by the British government comes after Italy built camps in Gjadra and Shëngjin to initially receive refugees who were caught in Italian waters.

According to Italian media, the British government's plan aims to send illegal immigrants who are not eligible for political asylum to Albania. The plan in question immediately received UN approval, unlike the Rama-Meloni agreement that had to fight against the blockade of Italian justice.

The latter has prevented the transfer of migrants to the two reception centers open in Gjadra and Shëngjin three times.

The British Prime Minister is now planning to transfer migrants who cannot obtain refugee status abroad.

The goal: to stop what seems increasingly like an invasion to the English. Burn those 162 ships that from January to April have crossed the English Channel, landing 9,099 immigrants on the shores of Albion, 81 percent more than in the same period in 2023.

In Italy, the number of illegal immigrants landed this year is already 12,191, more than in the United Kingdom. Giorgia Meloni, for one reason or another, has found her way blocked after the inauguration of two reception centers (Cpr) in Albania. And she has been forced to fight to get the approval of the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

Keir Starmer sent the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Yvette Cooper, to discuss with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees the possibility of sending asylum seekers to “repatriation centers” not only in Albania, but also in Serbia, Bosnia and North Macedonia. Immediately receiving the green light, as British newspapers indicate.

Provided, of course, that these centers guarantee respect for the human rights of those present. Rights that Italy has never dreamed of violating. But for the "populist" Giorgia, only problems at the moment of transferring illegal immigrants to structures in Albania, pending verification of whether they can be accepted as refugees or should be returned back at the border. For the Labor Keir, who wants to do the same things, the red carpet.

Downing Street's proposal envisages "refunds" to nations that accept migrants whose asylum claims in the UK have been rejected. The plan is described as a "safe and legal pathway to repatriation" to stem the arrivals. Moreover, on 4 July last Sir Keir, after a triumphant electoral victory that gave the Labour Party 411 of the 650 seats in the House of Commons and control of parliament, had declared the Rwanda Project desired by his Conservative predecessor Rishi Sunak "dead and buried".

Sending asylum seekers to the African country was not possible, but taking them to the Balkans was. All it takes is a socialist government to do it. With the "permission" of the UN.
