Overseas Voting Scandal/ London Citizen Denounces DHL Rejection of Her Envelope

An Albanian citizen originally from Tropoja, who has lived in London for 25 years, has denounced that she was denied the right to vote in the May 11 elections.

In a message made public by blogger Olti Curri, she reveals that on April 18, she received two envelopes - one for her and one for her husband - which were signed according to the rules.

After completing all instructions and sealing the envelopes with the appropriate vote, the citizen contacted DHL to send them, but encountered an obstacle.

According to her, the company agreed to take her husband's envelope, but refused to withdraw her own, claiming that it had "expired labels," even though both envelopes had arrived in London on the same day and had been sent on the same day.

She emphasizes that a similar problem has also appeared among other people she knew and expresses indignation at the fact that it is not known how to act in these cases.

REPORTING

Hello Olti

I am writing to you from London.

We are a Tropojane family and have been living in London for 25 years,

We have applied and registered for the May 11 elections.

On Friday, April 18, two envelopes arrived for me and my husband, and I signed for both envelopes.

After opening the envelopes, I made the notes according to my conviction and closed the envelopes according to each instruction.

Since it was Easter Bank Holiday in London today, I called DHL and they agreed to come pick up my husband's envelope, but not mine, on the pretext that the LABEL had expired.

In fact, other acquaintances had this problem too.

I don't know what to do in this case. I was denied the right to vote.
