Berisha with diaspora journalists: International resolutions are the obituary of the May 11 elections

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke online with the Union of Professional Albanian Journalists of the Diaspora. 

Artan Kutra, journalist and vice president of the Union of Professional Albanian Journalists of the Diaspora, asked Berisha, emphasizing not the technical aspects of the elections, but the biggest challenge: raising international awareness of the political reality in Albania.

Berisha, in his response, mentioned a series of resolutions adopted by international center-right organizations, describing them as "obituaries of a dead electoral process."

Artan Kutra : Greetings Mr. Sali Berisha. It is a pleasure to communicate with you.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you a question related to the upcoming local elections.

Perhaps my colleagues will dwell too much on the electoral code, but I will focus my question on the awareness that you, the DP, perhaps you personally, have with the contacts you have in the West.

How will you act to sensitize your Western colleagues to tell you the truth?

Because, you have declared that, in all these elections so far, Edi Rama has manipulated the elections. Will you influence you to tell the truth in the West as well? Because, you have already made known to the Albanians and have clearly explained the various schemes of manipulation that have been made by the manipulators of the Socialist Party, and you have said that it was precisely the head of Edi Rama who manipulated. But, in what way will you sensitize the internationals so that they too understand, that is, how it has been achieved at this time, especially for the upcoming local elections that are expected to be organized in the future? Perhaps my colleagues, Alba will focus on the electoral code, because that is how we have divided the tasks, but I would stop at the sensitization that you will make to the internationals, so that they too understand the manipulation.

Sali Berisha:  Thank you for the question, Artan.

We have gone through a period, like no other political force, when we were universally isolated because we defended just causes, just causes for every free person. But that period has ended. After the end of that period, from October until today, 5 resolutions have been approved by all parties of the center-right and right-wing spectrum.

Four of them before the May 11 elections, which are an obituary in advance of the May 11 elections. The 4 resolutions, one from the CDI, the International Democratic Center, which groups over 108 parties. The other from the IDU, which groups 87 parties from all over the world, and two resolutions from the European People's Party, the last just a week before the elections in Valencia, for anyone who reads them, are the obituary of an electoral farce, of a dead electoral process.

Pas zgjedhjeve, u miratua dhe një rezolutë tjetër, dhe kjo rezolutë u miratua nga CDI-ja, ku dënohet narkoshteti, dënohet farsa elektorale. Ne jemi përpjekur ndërkohë pas zgjedhjeve, për të paraqitur rastin, ndonëse duhet them që raporti i vëzhguesve të OSBE/ODIHR-it dhe vëzhguesve të tjerë paraprakë, de facto, i rrëzonte zgjedhjet. Në kuptimin që ai, që në tri rreshtat e parë i shpalli ato të pabarabarta. Dhe parimi themelor i zgjedhjeve është: barazia në garë.

Përveç kësaj, rreshton shkeljen, dhunimin e parimeve të tjera themelore të zgjedhjeve.

Por, nga ana tjetër, qeveria ka bërë përpjekje të jashtëzakonshme që ky raport të rrëzohe, që ky raport të mos qëndrojë në variantin përfundimtar. Natyrisht, jo pa efekte.

Duhet të jemi realist këtu se.

Artan Kutra: Po sigurisht, sigurisht…

Sali Berisha: Janë disa faktorë. Janë disa faktorë që mbahet ky qëndrim ndaj narko-diktaturës në Shqipëri.  Së pari, thashë është një faktor njohje, që nuk njihet narkodiktatura në Europë, por ama, pasojat e saj janë shumë evidente.

Së dyti, janë qëndrimet e tij klienteliste, i aftë për të bërë çdo gjë, për të dhënë gjithçka për të qendruar në pushtet. Miklimi dhe joshja që bën ai për lëshimin e territorit, për të pranuar emigrantë, njëlloj si në marrëveshjen me Italinë.

Po, të jemi realistë se, ajo marrëveshje, i ka bërë, sigurisht, një nder shumë të madhe kryeministres italiane që ka të dëshmuar se, ajo në dallim nga të gjithë kolegët e saj evropianë, ishte e aftë dhe e zonja, të bënte një zgjidhje, ose të paraqiste një zgjidhje që tani e dëshirojnë, dhe tani, pavarësisht se çfarë ndodh, por kërkesat nuk janë të pakta për marrëveshje të tilla.

Pavarësisht nga dominimi i idesë së stabilokracisë, në një kohë lufte në Europë, përsëri konstatojmë se, me paraqitjen tonë të fakteve, dokumenteve në Këshillin e Europës, në Parlamentin Europian, dhe tani së fundmi në Asamblenë Parlamentare të Këshillit të Europës, ne kemi arritur, jo vetëm të njohim, por në një shkallë  të madhe të bindim aleatët tanë, partnerët tanë se, Shqipëria nuk zhvilloi zgjedhje, dhe nuk zhvillon zgjedhje, por farsë elektorale.

Lidhur me zgjedhjet lokale, ato do të jenë thjesht një farsë.

Unë e kam thënë në mënyrë, në mënyrë të përsëritur: me Edi Ramën, zgjedhje nuk ka.

Edi Rama shpalos çdo ditë e më shumë, mentalitetin dhe psikologjinë e të atit të tij biologjik dhe të atit të tij shpirtëror. Pa asnjë lloj hezitimi.

Sot, e vërteta është dramatike. Por në rast se merr, analizon pushtetet, të garantoj që, janë shumë më të përqendruara në duart e një njeriu, se sa ishin ato në duart e Enver Hoxhës. Nuk po them të Ramiz Alisë.

Po u jap një shembull. Një nga këto ditë shqyrtoja lejet e ndërtimit të dhëna në fushatë elektorale.

Çfarë gjeja aty?

I found building permits for one-story houses signed by Edi Rama. At a time when, in my memory, in the dictatorship, in the village to build a house, you got the permit from the locality secretary or the executive committee at most. So, this total concentration is an over-exaggerated copy of his fathers. Or his statements that, I destroyed the LSI, I destroyed with great boasting that I destroyed the LSI, by imprisoning Ilir Meta etc., prove his pathological hatred for pluralism.
