Lawyer Genc Gjokutaj commented on the Court's decision following the release of Jamarbër Malltez, after 20 months held under house arrest.

Gjokutaj emphasized on Syrui TV that the risk of flight has not been proven for any of those involved in this process, including Malltez and Sali Berisha.

"The risk of flight for neither Jamarber nor Mr. Berisha, but for any participant in that process, has not only not been proven, but there is no indication. What I wanted to bring to the attention of the public today is the fact that this court has acted well in terms of the personal freedom of the person. Even the obligation to appear is a type of restriction of freedom, it has set that of a financial guarantee, of course it is a considerable amount. The procedure and the court's decision is this: a financial guarantee is set as a security measure.
