Berisha: Te rasti i Erion Veliajt kemi të bëjmë me lekët e bashkisë, te Malltezi me tokën e vet

Kryetari i Partisë Demokratike, Sali Berisha deklaron se ka ndryshime të mëdha mes rastit të kryebashkiakut Erion Veliaj dhe Jamarbër Malltezit, i cili sot u lirua nga arresti shtëpiak dhe masa e sigurisë u zëvendësua me "garanci pasurore" në shumën 3 milionë lekë të reja.
I ftuar në Syri tv, Berisha tha se në rastin e Veliajt flitet për paratë e bashkisë Tiranë dhe taksat e qytetarëve, ndërsa në rastin e Malltezit bëhet fjalë për tokën që sipas tij është e vetja.
"Nuk mund të them që rasti i Malltezit dhe Erion Veliajt janë të njëjtë. Në rastin e Veliajt është akuzuar një zyrtar që ka abuzuar me tendera. Është i akuzuar dhe vjehrra dhe nusja e tij. Jamarbër Malltezi nuk ka asnjë shkelje ligjore. Ai ka marrë vetëm tokën e vet, të gjyshes së vet. Nëse te Veliaj kemi të bëjmë me lekët e bashkisë, te rasti i Malltezit nuk kemi të bëjmë më asnjë lekë shteti. Në rastin e Veliajt janë mijëra euro të gjetura, garderobë të shtrenjtë, tendera të fituara nga vjehrra, vila të fshehura. Në rastin e Malltezit akuza ishte se ka marrë tokë të shpronësuar nga shteti.", tha Berisha.
