A magnificent 19th-century villa that once belonged to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld was recently sold at auction for 4.7 million euros.

The villa, known as the Pavillon de Voisins, is located in Louveciennes, about 16 kilometers west of Paris, and represents a characteristic example of French neoclassical architecture.

Lagerfeld bought the property in 2010 and invested in a deep renovation, completely transforming it according to his personal style. The villa is spread over five hectares, includes three independent buildings, a swimming pool and tennis court, surrounded by dense greenery and high fences that offer absolute privacy.

"This villa guarantees tranquility, discretion and anonymity," said Jérôme Cauro, a representative of the Arias agency, which managed the sale.

A large part of the first floor served as Lagerfeld's creative studio, and according to his close associate Amanda Harlech, this was "the house he loved most of all. He gave it everything."

On the ground floor, Lagerfeld had meticulously recreated his childhood room from the family home in Hamburg.
