Jamarbër Malltezi, held under house arrest for over 20 months, has provided more details regarding the judicial process.

In an interview on Syri TV, Malltezi made public the real reason for the launch of the investigation against him.

In detail, Malltezi described the moment of his arrest at the 'Mother Teresa' International Airport until his escort to the Tirana Police Department, by unidentified persons and without any documents that could indicate the real reason for his escort.

'It was a concocted thing, apparently by Edi Rama and his characters. They wanted to terrify the opposition. 3-4 people came to me, they didn't show me any documents. They laughed at me, they said you'll come with us.

I told them, introduce yourself and show me your document and they said no. Meanwhile, I was talking to my wife, I told her that they were telling me to go with them, they came like bandits, they took my cell phones. I pleaded with the citizens, this is kidnapping and they are filming me. The citizens were scared.

They took me in a private car, I asked them for documents, saying it was kidnapping. They didn't dare to speak and took my phone, they took me to the Police Department. They wanted to interrogate me and I said what kind of person. It was a tragicomic situation. The political order was getting marks for abuse of office and ignoring the law.
