Internationally wanted for drug trafficking, young Albanian arrested in Croatia

A 23-year-old Albanian man has been arrested in Croatia after being declared internationally wanted for drug trafficking. 

This concerns citizen Arjan Toçi, who, according to the police, was internationally wanted based on an arrest warrant issued by the Court in Italy for the criminal offense of "Drug Trafficking" committed within the framework of a criminal organization.

Toçi has been arrested for extradition purposes.

Police Notification

In the framework of close cooperation with the ENFAST network and its counterparts in FAST Croatia and FAST Italy, it has been possible to locate and arrest, in the territory of Croatia, the Albanian citizen AT, 23 years old, resident of Peshkopi, who is internationally wanted.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted based on an arrest warrant issued by the Preliminary Investigation Court of L'Aquila, Italy, for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a criminal organization, according to the provisions of the Italian Criminal Code.

This successful operation was carried out thanks to the real-time exchange of information and operational cooperation between the structures of FAST Albania, at the Directorate of the Special Operational Force at the Criminal Police Department of the State Police, and international partners.

The State Police, through its specialized structures, remains maximally engaged in international cooperation, for the localization, capture and extradition of citizens declared internationally wanted, with the aim of bringing them to justice.
