NAME/ Drugs and illegal weapons, young man arrested in Durrës, accomplice under investigation

A 21-year-old man has been arrested by the Police in Durrës and a 40-year-old man has been criminally prosecuted after being accused of drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons. 

The Blues announce that  Sentigliano Selami , who was caught driving without a license, was arrested, along with a 40-year-old passenger, Rr. K, in whose bag a knife was found and seized.

Subsequently, from the searches carried out at Selami's house, 25 doses of suspected cocaine, 50 doses of suspected cannabis, 1 pistol firearm with a partial serial number (partially erased), 100 combat cartridges of various calibers, 1 biometric passport in the name of another citizen and 3 mobile phones were found and seized.

The police operation codenamed "Mix" is being finalized, to crack down on the distribution of narcotics and illegal possession of weapons.

Cocaine, cannabis, firearms, combat ammunition and suspected forged documents are seized.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for possessing illegal items.

A 40-year-old man is being prosecuted for illegal possession of cold weapons.

Continuing the work to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activities, the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the Durrës Police Commissariat, successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "Mix".

As a result of this operation, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen SS, 21 years old, resident of the village of Kullë, Manzë, Durrës, was made.

As well, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen Rr. K., 40 years old, resident of Kulla, for illegal possession of cold weapons.

The operation was conducted based on information obtained through operational channels, regarding a citizen suspected of distributing narcotics and carrying firearms.

During the search of the vehicle in which the suspect was traveling, in the village of Kulla, it was found that citizen SS was driving the vehicle without a driving license;

Meanwhile, in the bag of citizen Rr. K., the Police services found and seized a cutting tool (knife).

Following the operation, during the search of the apartment of citizen Sentiliano Selami, in the village of Kullë, the following were found and seized as material evidence:

25 doses of suspected cocaine, 50 doses of suspected cannabis, 1 pistol firearm with partial serial number (partially erased), 100 combat cartridges of various calibers, 1 biometric passport in the name of another citizen and 3 mobile phones

The firearm will be sent for examination to the Scientific Police Institute, in order to verify whether it has been used in previous criminal events.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Durres, for further procedural actions, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Unauthorized possession of weapons and ammunition", "Unlawful possession of cold weapons" and "Forgery of documents".
