A serious incident was recorded last evening in Kosovo.
A 2-year-old girl drowned in a family swimming pool in the village of Zallç.
Police report that the minor was taken to the hospital for medical attention but unfortunately did not survive.
"A female child drowned in a family swimming pool in the village of Zallç. She was urgently taken to the Family Medicine Center, but, according to doctors, she arrived without any signs of life," said the spokesperson for the Peja Region Police, Fadil Gashi.
He added that the state prosecutor has also been notified of the case, and that investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
