At least 91 dead in Texas floods

At least 91 people have been confirmed dead, with at least 75 in Kerr County alone, after flash flooding in central Texas.

Search efforts continue for the fourth consecutive day for dozens of people still missing, authorities say.

Camp Mystic, a summer camp for girls in the county, confirmed that at least 27 girls and staff were among the dead, writes the BBC

The disaster occurred in the early hours of Friday, as the Guadalupe River rose more than 26 feet (8 meters) in less than an hour, causing widespread damage.
