Journalists boycott Albin Kurti, leave microphones and cameras on the ground in

Kosovo journalists have found a unique way to protest against the incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.

They boycotted him by leaving their microphones and cameras on the ground, as Kurti was leaving the Parliament premises, where he also failed to elect Speaker Albulena Haxhiu.

]Kurti was asked by journalists in previous sessions about the constitution of the Assembly, but he refused to answer.

The Kosovo Journalists Association has made a reaction regarding the case, writing that " This action by journalists occurred as a sign of protest after Kurti did not say a single word to the media in any of the 5 meetings of the Parliament within a week," the reaction states.

The Kosovo Journalists Association invites all political actors, and in this case especially the leader of the party that has won the most seats in the Assembly, to be transparent with the media and the public on such an important topic as the constitution of the new legislature.
