The cell phone of Ilaria Sula, the 22-year-old Albanian woman murdered by her Filipino ex-boyfriend, Mark Samson, has been found.

The phone was found in the apartment on Homs Street, in the African neighborhood, where the macabre crime also occurred, following information provided by Mark Samson.

Investigators have found and seized the victim's cell phone, which will be subjected to expert examination.

Ilaria Sula, who was studying at Sapienza University in Rome, was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend in his apartment. The 23-year-old's parents were also at home at the time of the murder.

The young man put the body in a suitcase and then threw it off a cliff near Poli Municipality.

The Albanian disappeared on March 25, while her lifeless body was found on April 2. After killing the 22-year-old student, Mark Samson used her cell phone to send messages to Ilaria's family, as well as to make posts on her social networks, to make them believe that she was fine and that she had left willingly.
