Murder of Albanian woman in Rome, mother speaks: From the messages on the phone

Ilaria Sula, a 22-year-old student of Albanian origin from Terni in Italy, where her parents live, who had been missing since Tuesday, March 25, has been found dead. The student was found lifeless inside a suitcase in a wooded area in the municipality of Pola (Rome), at the bottom of a cliff. Investigations are underway by the Rome authorities into the end of the relationship between the girl, who lived in the Furio Camillo area of ​​Rome, and her ex-boyfriend of Filipino origin.

The murdered Ilaria Sula had left the house without saying anything to her roommates and without responding to WhatsApp messages.

She had been living in Rome for several years and shared an apartment with several roommates. When Ilaria left her home in the San Lorenzo neighborhood on Tuesday and never returned, her friends were alarmed and notified her parents, who reported the matter to the state police.

However, today came the tragic discovery. Ilaria arrived in Terni as a child from Albania with her parents who started a new life in the capital of the Umbrian province. The mother works as a cleaner while the father has a stable job in a construction company.

The family lives in a building near the Liberati stadium. Before moving to Rome, Ilaria successfully attended the Angeloni high school, majoring in economics and social sciences. As soon as she graduated, she decided to enroll at the University of “La Sapienza” to continue her studies at the Faculty of Statistical Sciences. Gezime, the mother, had felt immediately after the disappearance that something dramatic might have happened, writes the Italian media  ilmessaggero.it. 
“I immediately realized that something was wrong – says Gezime, the mother who rushed to Rome with her husband after hearing the news of the discovery of the body – because he was used to making video calls to me and not using simple messages.
