When we don't give medicine as therapy for the disease, but concrete

When we don't give medicine as therapy for the disease, but concrete

By Lutfi Dervishi

A Garden of Eden with 23 EMCO machines to save lives from heart and lung collapse. What about this garden? With three PET-CT machines that detect tumors and cancer at the cellular level!

These two devices are not missing; they have never existed at QSUNT! Yes, yes, in what is loudly called the “Mother Teresa University Hospital Center”.

Both "center", and "university", and "Mother Teresa"?

All are chewed up. But the abuse of Mother Teresa's name is not chewed up. It is not forgiven. It is not forgotten!

Not having a PET-CT in 2025, not having an EMCO when modern hospitals call it standard equipment, is not a shortage, it's a mockery of life!

It's a mockery of patients.

It's a mockery of family members.

It is a mockery of a people who have learned to wait, not for a turn for service, but for the end.

The parking lot and hotel at QSUNT do not promise a revolution in healthcare.

This is not simply a system failure.

This is a silent, everyday, normalized crime.

A crime against the living who are waiting their turn and against the dead who had no chance.

And when an institution named after Mother Teresa does this, it's no longer just hypocrisy.

It is blasphemy.

Because diseases are not yet smart enough to distinguish between socialist or democrat.
