The murder of Albanian student Ilaria Sula has shocked public opinion in Italy, after it was revealed that she was killed by her ex-boyfriend, Mark Antony Samson, 23 years old of Filipino origin.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred after an argument between the couple, when Samson stabbed Ilarian, taking her life. After the macabre crime, he put her body in a suitcase and threw it in a forest area far from Rome, in the Pola area.

Following the perpetrator's plea of ​​guilty, investigations have been extended to his parents, who, according to Italian media, were at home at the time of the incident. Authorities are verifying whether they helped hide the body, while both were questioned by police.
