Tirana police have detained citizen Arben Goxha, who was wanted for importing several tons of chicken meat that was found to be infected with salmonella bacteria.
According to the authorities' announcement, Goxha has been decided to proceed at large after consultation with the prosecutor.

Specialists from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Section detained citizen AG, 50 years old, wanted for the criminal offense of "Importing, producing, selling and storing food dangerous to human health or life".
After consultation with the prosecutor, it was decided to proceed with the release of this citizen.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
