The former political leader of Vlora and currently on the open list of the Socialists, Damian Gjiknuri, has expressed his disagreement with Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the candidate lists. 

On A2 CNN, he said that he had a different stance on closed lists, which according to him should include experienced politicians, unlike Rama.

"In politics, everything happens. I don't believe that I wouldn't be convinced that I am very active and the Socialist Party needs my representation. I had a different approach and a different argument for the candidate lists. I said that the closed lists should be politicians with experience, creating a partial generation with the open lists, but the chairman is of an experimental nature. For me, it is unnatural because I have been a leader, and with high quotas, but since I am in the Vlora district, I have a lot of acquaintances ," said Gjiknuri.
