Ranked in the safe zone, Baçi: I wouldn't have a problem competing

Democratic Party MP Luan Baçi spoke about his placement on the safe list of candidates for MPs in the May 11 elections. 

In a statement to News24, Baci stressed that he never had high expectations for his position, leaving everything in the hands of the work and support of the Fier Democrats.


"I don't create expectations, I leave everything to the work, but I had no doubt that I would be on the closed list, since the Democrats of Fier have voted for me plebiscitely every time I have been in the race. In the last primaries I was among the most voted for ," he declared.

The Democratic MP also said that he would not have seen it as a problem to be part of an open list.

"In fact, I would find it more pleasant to be on the open list, because you would compete and enter parliament with an open vote ," he added.
