The autopsy conducted at the La Sapienza Institute of Forensic Medicine, by order of the Rome Prosecutor's Office, has revealed important details about the murder of 22-year-old Albanian student, Ilaria Sula.

According to the initial examination results, the young woman suffered three deep stab wounds to the neck, which caused fatal hemorrhagic shock. Despite the immediate examination after the event, the exact time and date of death have not yet been determined, for which further analyses are expected in the coming weeks.

Sula was murdered by her ex-boyfriend, who has confessed to the crime and is in custody. The incident has shocked her family and friends, while causing strong reactions in Italy on the phenomenon of violence in personal relationships.

Investigations continue to fully elucidate the circumstances of the murder and to ensure justice for the victim.
