Tabaku: The left in Albania has shown with facts that it is against integration

Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku also commented on today's statement by government elements, who accused the opposition of throwing mud at Albania in Brussels.

Tabaku said on Syri TV that in Albania, the left, which is currently in power, has shown with facts that it is against the country's integration into the EU.

'I have no complex about what the left says in Albania.

They have shown it with facts. For NATO, they have started writing, for visa liberalization, for the integration process, it was blocked for two years with 3 laws and when they came to power in 2013, they started and changed them again from the beginning.

The civil service law was changed.

I don't have any complexes about them, because politics is not what you say, but what you do.

Let's not forget the fact that we are not silent and we will raise these concerns for the sake of the citizens and those who voted for us.

I do not see myself in an absolute way, neither anti-Albanian nor destructive, on the contrary I see myself as helping Albania.

Now if we don't speak up and raise these concerns, what are we there for?

None of us are part of a set. This process will be inclusive where everyone will have their own space to raise their voice.

"If we complain about any kind of criticism, we silence the media, civil society, the opposition, then where are we going? We don't need Europe at all, we go where we were 50 years ago and we're fine," said Jorida Tabaku on SYRI TV.
