Muslim believers celebrate Eid al-Adha. Thousands of believers gathered on Friday morning on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard to pray the Eid al-Adha prayer.

The Head of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu, gave a speech and congratulated the holiday. In his speech, Spahiu also emphasized the importance of unity, love for each other and helping those in need.

"Rarely, today the most beautiful day of the week, Friday, joins with the most beautiful day of the year, Eid al-Adha, a double joy," said Spahiu, wishing peace, prosperity, and goodness.
