Couple injured in Kavaja, police find firearm hidden in wall

The perpetrator of the injury to the married couple in the village of Gos in Kavaja, Shpëtim Osma, was arrested a few hours after the incident. 

Kavaja Police announce that they have also found the firearm with which the 56-year-old perpetrator injured his two neighbors today, the married couple Sami Disha and N. Disha.

The blue uniforms indicate that the Police services found a pistol-type firearm hidden in a wall and seized it as material evidence. 

"Following the actions for the legal documentation of the event that occurred in the village of Gos, the Police services found hidden in a wall and seized as material evidence the pistol-type firearm, with which it is suspected that the perpetrator injured citizens SD and ND.

"Following the actions, the specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes of the Durrës DVP arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen Sh. O., 56 years old, after this citizen is suspected of having injured his two neighbors with a firearm during a conflict for weak motives. The procedural materials were passed on to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions," the police announced.
