Drug trafficking with "tentacles" in Europe, GJKKO seals prison for 9

The Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime has decided to leave in force the security measure "prison arrest" for nine people arrested as part of a joint operation between the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) and Finnish authorities.

The decision was issued by Judge Etleva Deda, following the request submitted by SPAK on June 3, 2025.

The arrested are accused of the criminal offenses of drug trafficking, sale of narcotics and participation in a structured criminal group with international activities.

In SPAK's request, considerable evidence was presented for the involvement of the arrested persons: Besnik Spata, Erind Agalliu (alias Teneqexhiu), Altin Musta, Kevin Qevani, Toni Kota (alias Tavani), Geraldo Seferaj, Eltion Myftari, Ledjon Hoxha and Dorjan Luzaj.

According to the court's decision, the evidence presented is sufficient to justify detention, to guarantee the continuation of the investigation without obstacles, and to avoid any attempt to escape or interfere with the process.

The court ordered the immediate execution of the decision, paving the way for further investigations in cooperation with Finnish authorities.

This operation is another clear signal of international cooperation in the fight against organized crime and international drug trafficking networks.
